During a Russian Manicure your nail is perfectly trimmed and smoothed around the edges, resulting in a very clean finished look. As part of the treatment an entirely different technique and instrument are used for the cuticles. Using an e-file (an electronic nail tool), the excess skin surrounding the nail bed is removed, just as a nipper (a nail tool used to trim away excess skin around the nail and the cuticle) does, but with a tiny e-file headpiece. This avoids cutting the nail too aggressively and allows the nail technician to have much more control. The treatment is finished with a Crystal Gel Base and then a Gel Polish of your choice is applied to perfect.

The nails are then shaped and tidied and finally a Gel Polish of your choice is applied to give a long-lasting colour and shine.
